On July 4, 2026, communities across the nation will join to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our great nation. From events such as the Battle of Brandywine to the Iron and Steel and Agriculture industries, history is all around us here in Chester County. Partnership events like concerts, parades, ceremonies, and gatherings will take place as part of the celebration led by America250, a coalition of public and private partners working to create initiatives and programs that honor our first 250 years and inspire us to think about our next 250 years. This multiyear effort to commemorate the semi-quincentennial celebration of our nation's 250th starts NOW.
On November 10, 2021, the Chester County Commissioners signed a resolution to support America250PA and create a Chester County committee.
